Anyone can create an art festival but at Arte Pad, it’s not so much about doing as it is about being. We are creating a new culture in San Diego founded on the presence of creative collaboration, unity, love, power, and passion spreading wings! What that looks like is artists collaborating together in teams and team work to create and generate the fulfillment of a variety of interactive creative camps. We have a range of camps with tools, supplies, and structure to make fine art, paintings, welding, woodworking, jewelry, body painting, fashion, photography, videography, and crafts. Performers include a range of comedians, local musicians and DJ’s bringing high vibration, positive, inspiring, soul-centered beats, dancers, fire spinners, aerial yoga, and unique creative acts. Fitness camps include glow and acro yoga, a guided nature hike on the festival grounds, and Chi Gong. Healing arts camp includes reiki, massage, meditation, and chiropractic care. Juice Pad (the nutritional arm of Arte Pad) will be serving up fresh, local, organic juice, smoothies, and salads to keep your creative juices flowin’ through the festival!

You will need your ID and ticket upon entry. The only ones that will not require ID are children 8 and under. You will also need cash or card. There will be food and drink vendors on location. Musicians may also be selling music and merchandise, and of course you may want to purchase from our art vendors! Support local artists! Local 8.5 PH mountain water is free so bring a container to stay hydrated (it will be hot!). This festival raises money for our non-profit, and supports all the arts in San Diego. Thank you in advance from us all. We love you!

Is there camping and can I bring my RV?

Camping is strongly encouraged and we have more than enough room for everyone. Tent sand RVs allowed. Please show up early to the event (set up begins as early as 7AM Saturday July 29th and goes to 11AM.) All cars must be off the main grounds by 11AM. The festival starts at 12PM and opening ceremony begins promptly at 1PM.

It is dry camping, so there won’t be showers or fires, but there will be a large bonfire in the evening.

Can I bring my (insert instrument here)? I heard there was open mic?

YASSSSS! We are all about you shining brightly and sharing your passions with everyone there. We have a stage set up specifically for you and anyone feeling inspired to play, sing, or talk a tune. Poetry also welcome. Our mic does not discriminate against any form of self-expression.
